John Hermes
President
John is an honors graduate from the University of Florida’s M.E. Rinker School of Building Construction. This program is the largest of its type in the nation, and is nationally recognized for its high skill level of Building Construction graduates.
As a Partner of The Perry Company, John has specialized in the management of large,highly technical projects varying from corporate headquarters to call centers to SCIF facilities. He recently completed the management of American Strategic Insurance headquarters. This $40,000,000 project consists of two office buildings, and a parking deck. John’s educational training specifically tailored him for a career in the construction industry.
This training partnered with a diverse range of construction experience including large scale and technically complex facilities is a strong asset for The Perry Company. His responsibilities include but are not limited to all phases of Project Management, estimating, bid solicitation, scheduling, and closeout.
Eric Grzybowski
Vice President/Project Manager
Eric Grzybowski is a graduate from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in building Construction Management, currently the Myers-Lawson School of Construction. The first School of Construction in the nation created to cross traditional boundaries of education and to develop values based construction leaders.
Eric carries a “Class A” General Contractors License and is a LEED Accredited Professional. As a partner/project manager, Eric has specialized in a variety of complex projects for clients ranging from Fortune 500 corporations to small local businesses. His responsibilities include but are not limited to pre-construction estimating and scheduling, project management, project closeout, safety coordination and green construction.
Rob Swezey
Superintendent
Rob is a graduate of Radford University with a Bachelor of Science. He brings 15 years of local construction experience to The Perry Company. He was trained in the field as a Project Engineer, Project Foreman and Superintendent. His field experience coupled with his project management capabilities adds to a strong base that compliments the project team.
Rob has a wide variety of experience ranging from particulate controlled environments/clean labs to multi-story Class “A” office buildings to multi-story concrete parking structures to tilt-wall constructed industrial buildings.
Rob’s responsibilities include but are not limited to pre-construction estimating, project buyout, scheduling and project coordination through closeout. Rob carries a Class “A” general contractor’s license.
